The Hornsby Shire Historical Society publishes two editions of our journal, Local Colour per year. Articles are usually written by our members, although contributions from outside the Society are always welcome. Each issue has a theme as can be seen in the contents page of a recent issue below.
Members receive these magazines as part of their membership of the Society. Recent titles include Our Back Yards, Temporary Accommodation in Hornsby Shire, Every Picture Tells a Story and Schools in Hornsby Shire. Some back issues are still available and may be purchased from our museum.
